A Guide to Observe’s Model Context Protocol (MCP)
This blog post will walk you through the basics of Observe’s Model Context Protocol (MCP), a powerful feature for integrating AI models with your data.
What is MCP?
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that facilitates the secure sharing of context between AI models and data systems. Observe’s MCP Server enables AI-driven tools like Augment, Cursor, Claude Code, and Claude Desktop to connect to your Observe tenant. This connection allows these tools to investigate incidents or explore data such as logs, metrics, or traces, directly within your Observe environment.
Private Preview
It’s important to note that the Model Context Protocol is currently a private preview feature. If you are interested in using this functionality or would like to learn more, you’ll need to contact your Observe representative. Alternatively, you can open a “Docs & Support” ticket to get in touch with the team.
