We strongly recommend that customers do not use IP address whitelisting for configuring firewall or security rules for our ingest collectors.
While we don’t have immediate plans to change the current IP addresses, the IP addresses of our ingest endpoints are dynamic and subject to change without notice.
For industry-standard security and reliability, we advise using TLS (Transport Layer Security) in conjunction with our Fully Qualified Domain Names (FQDNs) for your security configurations. This is the robust, recommended method that ensures uninterrupted service and the highest security, even if our underlying IP addresses change.
