How to adjust data retention

If you want to adjust data retention for 1 or more datasets, you can accomplish this by adjusting the data retention of the source datastream.

Here are the steps to do so.

For each datastream that you want to modify, complete steps 1-4.

  1. Click on the datastreams link on the left navigation

  2. Choose the datastream that you wish to adjust

  3. Click on the pencil (edit) icon in the top right.

  4. Choose the desired retention using the next screen, for each one of the datastreams.

Note: The retention “cleanup” occurs 1x per day so it may not be immediate but should take affect within 1 day.
